PS TET Application Form

Punjab School Education Board conducts Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) for the enlistment of educators for the class I to VIII.

PSTET 2017 Eligibility:-


Least Educational Qualifications for getting to be Teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Stage):


Senior Secondary (or its equal) with no less than half checks and passed or showing up in the conclusive year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Or, on the other hand, Senior Secondary (or its proportionate) with no less than 45% checks and passed or showing up in conclusive year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), as per the NCTE

(Acknowledgment Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.

Or, on the other hand, Senior Secondary (or its equal) with no less than half checks and passed or showing up in the definite year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

Or, then again Senior Secondary (or its comparable) with no less than half stamps and passed or showing up in the conclusive year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.

Or, on the other hand, Graduation and passed or showing up in the definite year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Least Educational Qualification for getting to be Teacher for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage):


Graduation and passed or showing up in the conclusive year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Or, on the other hand, Graduation with no less than half checks and passed or showing up in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

Or, then again Graduation with no less than 45% checks and passed or showing up in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), as per the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued now and again in

this respect.

Or, then again Senior Secondary (or it is proportional) with no less than half checks and passed or showing up in the definite year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

Or, on the other hand, Senior Secondary (or its proportionate) with no less than half checks and passed or showing up in the definite year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed.


Or, then again Graduation with no less than half checks and passed or showing up in 1-year B.Ed. (Exceptional Education)*.
